Sportpesa Racing Point moved up to fifth in the Formula 1 Constructors' standings after a sterling performance by Sergio Perez (P6) and Lance Stroll (P9) at the Azerbaijan grand prix on Sunday (April 27).
Valtteri Bottas led a Mercedes 1-2 finish at Baku to claim top spot in the drivers' standings from Lewis Hamilton. Sebastian Vettel was third in the Ferrari.
The Racing Point duo however, claimed double points for the first time this season in a chaotic race that saw Perez qualify P5 on the grid. Red Bull's Max Verstappen and Ferrari new-boy Charles Leclerc were ahead of Perez who beat the two McLarens.

The Mexican told F1.com: "It’s been a good day, it was looking great at the start when I overtook Verstappen, but then very early on, we saw where our pace was and it was more about beating those McLarens that were very strong today, had tremendous pace.
Sportpesa Racing Point team boss Otmar Szafnauer said: "It’s our first double points finish of the season and our strongest performance so far. Baku has traditionally been a competitive track for us and it was important we took advantage this weekend."
