Audi South Africa has launched Audi Exclusive, a service for customers to achieve levels of vehicle customisation "unmatched in the local premium vehicle market".
The concept, originally called Quattro, was established in Germany in 1983 as an Audi subsidiary intended to sell accessories and vehicle individualisation. In 1996 it was developed further at Audi's Neckarsulm factory where the automaker's high-performance vehicles are assembled.
170 SHADES, MIX YOUR OWN COLOUR
Audi Exclusive gives customers access to style packages to individualise their vehicles.
The range comprises of 170 interior shades, including matte finishes, or customers can opt for their own colour mix. The range includes off-road packages for the Audi Q3 and Q5.
Customers can also order exterior paint in a colour of their choosing. For the R8 and other models, there are also a number of matte paint finishes.
16 INTERIOR COLOURS
The interior options comprise of 16 colours, two leather qualities and nine carpet tones. Quattro GmbH offers exclusive trim elements to match the choice of leather - piano lacquer, metal and wood veneer.
New to the range is the Beaufort aluminium/wood trim, which combines black wood with aluminium. For larger models, the Audi Exclusive program offers a range of finishes for the roof-lining and dashboard.
Audi Exclusive is available on all models from the A1 to the R8 and includes the following starter packages:
Audi Exclusive Black
The most cost-effective option provides black exterior styling enhancements for the grille, windows and alloys.
Available on the A1, A3, A4, A5 and Q5 models.
Audi Exclusive Line
The mid-level offering grants interior enhancements with leather upholstery in a choice of colours. Contrast seams and stitching, as well as door sill trims with Audi Exclusive logo are available.
Available on A4, A5 and Q5 models.
Audi Exclusive Open
A special package designed for Audi cabriolets, Open specification gives customers unrestricted interior colour options.
Available on A5, S5, RS 5 and R8 Spyder cabriolets.
Audi Exclusive Bespoke
The Bespoke grade gives customers access to the full range of colours and designs, including the choice of fine Nappa or Valcona leather. Audi Exclusive badgine can be seen on the door panels, seatbelts, carpets, controls, inlays and roof lining.
Available on A6, S6, A7, S7, A8, S8, RS and R models.
