Barrichello wins at Monza

accreditation
Monza, Italy - Brazilian Rubens Barrichello won his third race of the season at the Italian Formula One Grand Prix on Sunday, leading German world champion Michael Schumacher across the line at Ferrari's home track for the team's seventh one-two of the year.

With the Italian team having already secured both the drivers' and constructors' championships, the massed ranks of their red-clad fans showed their delight as the two Ferraris took the chequered flag in formation for the team's 13th grand prix win of the season.

Williams drivers Ralf Schumacher and Colombian Juan Pablo Montoya had dominated the early stages of the race, but the younger Schumacher's engine blew up and the Ferrari drivers gave an illustration of the superiority of their cars to lead the race by the end of lap four.

Former Ferrari driver Eddie Irvine got on the podium in third place for Jaguar, while the Renaults of Italian Jarno Trulli and Briton Jenson Button were fourth and fifth.
