This spacious sedan, which is imported from Australia, has been facelifted and now offers revised exterior and interior appearance as well as more features at lower prices than previously. Price repositioning of the four-model Camry range has resulted in recommended retail selling prices that are 8,4% lower on average than the models they replace.
The latest Camry will be on display at Auto Africa from October 25 and some of the models in the new Camry range will be at dealers from this week.
The new prices for the car have been announced together with a minor facelift. The base line Camry 2.4 XLi manual is now priced at R192 240 including VAT.
This is 10% lower than the previous price for the equivalent model. Other models in the range benefit from an average 8% reduction in price. These savings vary between R18 365 and R25 185, depending on the model.
An added benefit for customers is that leather-covered seats and door trim panels, which would usually carry an add-on price of R5 000, will be available at no additional cost on all 2.4-litre Camry XLi and GLi models delivered up to the end of January 2005. After that they will become a R5 000 option.
Leather bolsters and Escaine, mock suede cloth inserts are standard on the latest version of the luxurious, top-of-the-range Camry 3.0 V6 automatic.
