Opel will keep the three-door Lite version of the old Corsa range to take on the Ford Fiesta, VW Chico and Toyota Tazz. In addition to the entry-level Lite there will be a Lite Sport as well.

The Lite Sport will feature extra outside trim, which includes a spoiler. This model will also get a rev-counter and height-adjustable sport seats. The price tag for the Lite Sport will be a competitive R80 3100.
Both models will keep the 1.4-litre power train of the previous Corsa range.
