Under its bonnet is a tuned version of the V70 R's 2.5-litre inline five-cylinder engine. It come with a Garret turbocharger and software upgrades, which means that the power output is a whopping 301 kW instead of 220 kW.

For this sizzling concept Volvo also enhanced the XC70's off-road capability by developing a fully independent air suspension. The result is that this special XC70 can ride up to 21cm higher than its production sibling.
