The A4 2.0 Avant is available to order from dealers immediately and first deliveries will be in February. It is powered by the same 96 kW four-cylinder engine as the sedan.
Customers of the A4 Avant 2.0 will be available to choose from either a five-speed manual transmission or the improved multitronic CVT gearbox with seven-step manual intervention.
Priced at R241 000 for the manual and R255 500 for the seven-step multironic, the A4 2.0 Avant carries a R16 000 premium over the equivalent sedan model.
The A4 2.0 Avant will have the same level of standard specification as the A4 2.0 sedan. These include a rain and light sensor, dual-zone climate control, ESP traction and stability control, electrically operated windows and more.
The following Avant-specific differences are also standard:
Dividing net for the luggage compartment
Double load-area floor with dirt-resistant tray underneath
Detachable luggage compartment cover
Power socket, 12 volts, in the luggage compartment
Rear seat back, split 1/3 or 2/3
Rear window wiper with automatic wash/wipe
Roof rails in anodised aluminium
As with all new Audi models sold in South Africa, the A4 2.0 Avant comes standard with a five-year or 100 000 km Freeway full maintenance plan.
