WATCH: BMW's luxury X7, Beetle 'Final Edition' - the star cars of the LA Motor Show

The Los Angeles Motor Show takes place this week, with a wide variety of new models on show for the public to catch a glimpse of.

The event sees many automakers showcasing new models set to be launched soon such as the SA-bound BMW X7 and the new Bentley Continental GTC.

The new Mazda3 has been closely guarded secret by the Japanese automaker though fortunately for fans it will officially be unveiled in LA.

Volkswagen's popular Beetle will have a "Final Edition" variant on show as well, paying homage to the faithful 'Bug' that has officially been taken off the production line.
