STOCKHOLM, Sweden - The Koenigsegg One:1 Megacar, says the automaker is the world's first megacar in production. It's capable of 1014kW and rocketing to 300km/h in 17.95 secs.
The One:1 produces one megawatt of power, and the automaker claims it is the world's first series produced megacar. The Swedish automaker has produced a car with the 'dream equation' with kW-to-kilogram curb weight ratio of an astonishing 1:1. (Hence the name.)
Christian von Koenigsegg, CEO and founder of Koenigsegg automotive, said: "When we design a new car here at Koenigsegg, we don't make any compromises."

Power: 1014kW at 7500rpm – limiter at 8250rpm
Torque: over 1000Nm from 3000 to 8000rpm
Max torque: 1371Nm at 6000rpm
0 – 400 km/h - 20 seconds (claimed)
400 – 0 km/h - 10 seconds (claimed)
Braking distance: 28m (100-0 km/h)
Max lateral g-force: 2.0g
The Swedish automaker is debuting its One:1 at the annual Monterey car week running from August 10-16 in California.
ONLY SIX IN WORLD
Koenigsegg has built six production units, and one test prototype. The prototype has already been in action in Suzuka (Japan), Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) and Ängelholm (Sweden).
The One:1 set a new track record for a road legal production vehicle at Spa with a 2min33.26 lap in July 2015.
