News24's Amanda Khoza is on the scene where the diesel and petrol tanker collided at the Sarnia road overhead bridge on the N2 in Durban earlier on Tuesday morning.

The fuel from the trucks spread across the road after the collision, which happened at around 04:00.

"Fortunately, both drivers managed to escape from the trucks with no injuries," said Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha.

The highway remains closed.
