Luxury V40 punches above its weight in Volvo June sales data

Volvo South Africa sold 227 cars in June 2019, with the top-selling vehicle its V40 hatchback. The Swedish automaker's three SUVs, XC60, XC90 and XC40 occupy second to fourth positions. 

The XC40 is the smallest SUV in its line up and despite it being much cheaper than its siblings it seems the buying public are opting for the mid-size and larger XC60 and XC90 models instead. 

The only sedan in the automaker's range, the S90 was the fifth best-selling vehicle for Volvo with 20 units registered.
