With the Q3's motor show unveiling a few weeks away, Audi has released the first teaser images of its all-new crossover SUV.
The newest addition to Audi’s SUV line-up is, as expected, significantly influenced by the CrossCoupe concept and has a strong resemblance to the existing Q5 and Q7 models.
However, given its more compact dimensions, the Q3 has a sportier appearance and a roofline that is more raked when compared to its SUV siblings.
Aluminium accents, a more compact MMI display and wood trim are said to feature prominently in the cabin.
A range of petrol and turbodiesel engines is expected to be announced for the Q3, along with Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive system, when it is unveiled at the Auto Shanghai show, starting April 20, 2011.
Q3 models will be produced at Seat’s Martorell plant, in Spain.
