Aston Martin's One-77 supercar "comfortably" breached the 355 km/h-mark in high speed testing.
In conditions that were said to be dry but windy, Aston Martin's Gaydon-based engineering team took the One-77 to a top speed of 355 km/h. The upcoming supercar is currently undergoing testing at a southern European proving ground.
One-77 is powered by a new 7.3-litre V12 engine and will be the company's most powerful roadgoing car yet. Dynamic testing of the new car will continue into the new year.
The exquisitely styled two-seater uses a carbon fibre monocoque body and only 77 units of the supercar will be produced. Lucky owners are set to take delivery from mid-2010.
