With ongoing talks of protests against record-high petrol prices in South Africa we thought we'd look at how much our neighbouring African countries are paying for fuel.

Much like South Africa, the price of petrol has increased almost in every country on our list.

SADC countries 

Zimbabwe leads the way for the most expensive petrol price at $1.47 per litre followed by South Africa.

For this list we've also added the island nation of Madagascar.
