• Raikkonen attempts to help Giovinazzi find his way around the 20-kilometre long track.

• The pair have been teammates at Alfa Romeo since 2019.

Alfa Romeo's Formula 1 drivers Antonio Giovinazzi and Kimi Raikkonen took to the Nurburgring Nordschleife circuit in one of the brand's fastest models: the Giulia Quadrifoglio.

The teammates strapped themselves in and took on the 'Green Hell' as it's famously known. Raikkonen, known for his dry sense of humour is hilarious as he shows a side of himself rarely seen on camera.

The Finn seems to get along very well with Giovinazzi as they take a spin in the 375kW sports sedan. The Quadrifoglio, like the drivers F1 cars wears an Alfa Romeo badge but is powered by a Ferrari engine. It uses a 3.9-litre V6 twin-turbo unit to deliver astonishing power.

The track is over 20-kilometres long and replete with 73 turns. It's used by car manufacturers to test the durability of new vehicles and includes famous corners such as Flugplatz,Karussell and Wippermann.

Raikkonen recently broke a record for the most starts in F1 with his 323rd at the Eifel grand prix. Nicknamed the 'Iceman', his career in F1 began in 2001 and includes 21 victories, 103 podium finishes and one world championship.

He won the drivers' world championship in his first season at Ferrari after moving from McLaren where he spent five seasons.

Raikkonen enjoyed a second stint at the Italian team in from 2014 to 2018 where he linked up with four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel.

The Finn is currently 12th in the championship with the Ferrari-powered Alfa Romeo team and is still one of the most popular drivers in the paddock and a fans favourite.
