Honda's Marc Marquez clinches his 7th MotoGP title in Japan

Motegi, Japan - Honda's Marc Marquez stormed to victory in Japan on Sunday to capture his third straight MotoGP world title.

The Spaniard started from sixth but quickly knifed through the field before passing championship rival Andrea Dovizioso on lap 21 of 24.

The Italian subsequently crashed his Ducati on the penultimate lap, effectively handing Marquez the title.
