BIAGI IN F1 LINK

accreditation

The 29-year-old met with 'a team' in the Monte Carlo paddock, according to the La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper.

Biagi currently leads the FIA GT world championship for sister Ferrari brand Maserati.

He revealed: "There are concrete possibilities to reach an agreement to do a test and to sign a (F1) contract for 2006."

Declining to reveal the identity of the unnamed team, however, Biagi did say he'd like to stay 'within the Ferrari orbit' and that a 2005 debut might even be possible.
