BP goes big at MPH '08

BP will have a strong presence at MPH'08, including a display featuring an Audi A6 with split-engine technology.

The 4.2-litre V8 A6 features boroscopes in the engine linked to high-tech television screens designed to demonstrate the effect of BP Ultimate in comparison to ordinary fuels.

BP claims their Ultimate fuels can deliver an economy benefit of up to 25km per tank.

Top Gear fans can meet their favourite presenter and jet car crash survivor, Richard Hammond, at a special signing session that will take place on Saturday, February 2 between 7pm and 8pm at the BP Ultimate stand.

The show runs from January 31 to February 3. Doors open from 08h00 to 18h00.

  • Thursday, 31 January - 8pm
  • Friday, 1 February - 5pm; 8pm
  • Saturday, 2 February - 11am; 2pm; 5pm; 8pm
  • Sunday, 3 February - 11am; 2pm; 5pm

    Ticket prices:

  • Adults - R170 (standard, which only includes access to car show)
  • Adults - R260 (premium, which includes entrance to motoring theatre)
  • Children under 12 - R100

    ONLINE PROMOTIONS TO RUN FROM JANUARY 7 TO 23

  • 1st prize: 1 winner, plus partner to attend gala event which will be attended by the Top Gear stars, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond as well as local motoring star, Sasha Martinengo on the evening of January 31. The prize will also include tickets to the show itself and motoring theatre on the same evening, as well as flights/one night's accommodation.
  • 2nd prize: Giving away six double tickets on www.wheels24.co.za. This prize won't include flights to the show.
  • 3rd prize: Giving away BP Ultimate branded rally shirts signed by current rally champion, Jan Habig or current A5 Class champion, Gugu Zulu.
