The current communication campaign showcasing Nissan's 4x4 range, gives a clear indication of the range's abilities and outdoor and motoring enthusiasts will be able to test their skills at the exhilarating Nissan test track which will be set up in Knysna for the duration of the Pick 'n Pay Knysna Oyster Festival. Drivers will have the opportunity to put the vehicles through their paces, and experience the SUV range individual product characteristics.
Visitors can test-drive Nissan SUV models such as the stylish Murano, the impressive Pathfinder, the no-nonsense X-Trail and the rugged Navara. In addition to the activities at the test track, Nissan will also present the well-known DUESOUTH XTERRA, which is certain to take Knysna by storm on 12 July.
According to Pieter Maritz, Nissan Marketing Manager for the SUV range, being involved with the Pick 'n Pay Knysna Oyster Festival is a great opportunity to interact with festival goers. "I am confident that the Nissan test track will have huge appeal to visitors to Knysna at the time of the Oyster Festival. Our target market overlaps with that of visitors to the Oyster Festival, namely people who love Knysna's beauty, sophisticated food and being outdoors. This could create an instinctive attraction to our Nissan SUV range," says Maritz.
The Nissan SA Test Track will be set up and managed by professional driving instructors from Nissan and will be operational from Friday, 6 July until Sunday, 15 July 2007, in George Rex Drive opposite the Ashmead Resort.
