Wheels24 reader TREVOR NOBLE has sent us some awesome motorsport photographs of the Renault World Series event, including some action shots of the spectacular crash of Gustavo Menezes during Race 2 of the FIA European F3 Championship.
Noble said: Here are some pics from the recent round of the Renault World Series by Renault held at Spa on May 30-31 2015. This series is run by Renault and features races for a number of Renault-powered cars at various European circuits.

The cars include the Renault 3.5 - a single-seater powered by a Nissan 3.5-litre engine (close to being a Formula 1 car), Renault 2.0-litre single-seater, Renault Clio, a new one-make Renault Sport RS 01 Sports car series which is powered by a new 3.8-litre turbo V6.
CHALLENGING CORNERS
This round was held at Spa - Francorchamps, which is in the Ardennes mountain range in Belgium and is just over 7km long. The Belgium F1 GP is held here together with a number of international and local events including Spa 24 Hour, Adac GT Masters, Spa 6-Hour for Classic cars. The track is a favorite circuit with all drivers for its challenging corners which include the (in)famous Eau Rouge (Raidillon), Les Combe and La Source hairpin.
There are some images of South African driver Callan O'Keefe who is racing in the Renault 2.0 single-seater series and is one of the front runners. The rest of the selection is a mix of the different series run during the weekend and I have labeled some of the different classes (see World Series gallery).
Noble also included a few pictures of the F1 demo by Toro Rosso's Max Verstappen. And then there's the spectacular crash of Gustavo Menezes during Race 2 of the FIA European F3 Championship at Spa on June 26. MUST-SEE gallery!
Noble said: "Amazingly the driver got out of the vehicle uninjured other than bruised knees."
