Reader's top 6 bad driving habits

Wheels24 reader MARK ABRAMS, in response to our Top 10 bad driving habits article,  says that since taxis are allowed to disobey traffic laws, other road users are following suit. He lists his top six bad driving habits!

Tailgating and failing to use indicators are two of the most despised driving habits outed by a survey in the UK, both are common in South Africa, particularly when overtaking or entering/leaving a traffic circle.

Insurance company GEM says the lack of punishment in the UK for such driving behaviour can be just as frustrating.

Wheels24 reader MARK ABRAMS lists his top six motoring misbehaviours:

Taxis, taxis, taxis… you name it, they do it. The result is that other drivers disobey the rules of the road because taxi drivers get away with it. I’m not surprised there is road rage.

1 No accountability for transgressions.
2 No conscience on the road and a “couldn’t give a damn attitude”.
3 Throwing cigarette butts and various litter out of the window.
4 Slow drivers in fast lanes.
5 Insufficient knowledge of road rules.
6 The misuse of traffic circles and ignorance as to how they work.
