"Live by the gun, die by the gun." Wheels24 reader TRAUDI RIEGGER
believes that the cop filmed shooting armed hijacker in Brazil “was
justified. If you haven’t seen it yet, be sure to watch the video!
Earlier in 2013, Wheels24 reported on a video, posted on LiveLeak, showing a pair of thugs hijacking a motorcyclist in Brazil. In the video, a hijacker riding pillion on a motorcycle, pulls out a very large handgun and forces a rider off his bike.
Fortunately a policeman intervened by firing two shots at the thief, who was knocked from the bike.

‘GOOD RIDDANCE’
Wheels24 reader TRAUDI RIEGGER believes that the officer was justified in shooting the hijacker:
The cop shooting the armed motorcycle hijacker was justified. The cop would not have been able to catch and arrest the hijacker, if the thief managed to get away on the motorcycle.
This type of criminal would most definitely have gone on to do it again, perhaps even kill someone who resisted. Maybe this was his second, third, fourth or fifth hijacking, who knows?
This happened in Brazil, but could just as well have been South Africa. So good riddance (to bad rubbish)
