Cape limits: Charlie's right!

I agree whole heartedly with what Charlie says.

I am a motorcycle rider and daily see and experience bad driving behaviour. Often I sign language the driver as to what happened to your indicator or open handed signal asking “And that?”.

Just last Saturday in the Waterkant at the Cape Quarter I almost lost my tail-end of the bike and that with a pillion-rider as a women in a Megane came flying round the corner whilst I was manoeuvring to park the motorcycle.

POLICE NOWHERE

And she knew I was there, because I turned into the one-way street in front of her. But yes, careless reckless driving is the order of the day in the Western Province. The Traffic Police are nowhere to be found when they are or at least are expected to be around, except for hiding in the back of some van with a speeding camera.

Moving offences only seem to occur for heavy haulers as I noticed this morning again.

Charlie, you have my support all the way.
