Creatives really are a blessing during this period of uncertainty in the world. Social media network Instagram is a great platform to view videos, galleries, and also indulge in some beautifully-written words.
I've found some of my favourite car 'Insta' pages that I check out every day or so. It's an eclectic mix from classic cars to lifestyle, and of course supercars.
Enjoy!
1. Type 7 - 'Powered by Porsche' as it says on the page's bio, Type 7 is a smorgasbord of lifestyle content with beautifully-photographed 911s the dominant feature.
It's one of the best curated daily Instagram magazines with meticulously crafted words accompanying the photographs.
'Type 7 is the daily magazine for those who are driven, combining a love of Porsche and those who drive them with a deep and detailed exploration of art, architecture, and collector culture at large'.
2. Whiteknuckleadventures - The brain child of Capetonian Brent van der Schyff, 'whiteknuckleadventures' is a mix of car-spotting, local racing and well-written quirky features.
Van der Schyff has a knack of spotting rare cars, but it's the detail that the 35-year-old delves into that makes each entry a delight to read.
3. Cars By Guff - This page is all about OTT, loud and incredibly fast cars. With close to 700 000 followers, Cars by Guff is your one-stop shop for Lamborghini Aventador SVs, modified R35 Nissan GT-Rs, and all the newest supercars.
So if you like hearing supercars hit their rev limiter or bark flames out their exhausts, head over to the page and pop it a follow, you won't be disappointed.
4. RM Sotheby's - The world renowned auction house has over 200 000 followers and features some of the rarest cars on the planet.
From a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing to a late-production Lamborghini LM002. The RM Sotheby's team has managed to squeeze every bit of detail about the car into the post.
