Old Porsche's specifically the 911's can still fetch plenty of cash because it is such a fine example of automotive history, some even worth more than newer models.

No Porsche is cheap or affordable and while it may be old, its value is right up there.
It also has a rich heritage in motorsport, competing in and winning the Le Mans 24 Hour race numerous times.
At the end of the day, it is still a car and requires maintenance - maintenance that can cost you a fair bit. Who said owning a Porsche would be cheap..
