Elvis Presley is one of the ultimate global icon and one particular German town is showing their appreciation for 'The King' in a rather unique way - modified traffic lights.
In the small town of Friedberg, Elvis is well and truly still alive and in the hearts of many according to a few local residents.
Forever remembered
Such is the extent of appreciation that 'The King's' famous dance moves have been integrated into the traffic lights. A red light shows him striking a pose with a microphone while the green shows his famous swivel dance.
Not only that, a street has been named after him as well. Many locals believe that Elvis made his first career steps in Friedberg while he also did his military service there between 1958 and 1960.
