It's Tuesday, which means we feature an awesome supercar on Wheels24. We're going back to 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed to see the outrageous McLaren P1 LM take on the hill.

The Lanzante Motorsport car which was made street legal sports close to 730kW from its twin-turbo V8 with hybrid assist and broke the record for the fastest street-legal car to climb the famous Goodwood hill. You can see what time it sent in the video below, rest assured it is brutally quick.

Lanzante became globally synonymous with the McLaren name when it ran the semi-works Mclaren F1 GTR that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1995.

Former Indy 500 winner, 1998 Indy racing champion, Kenny Brack is the brave man behind the wheel as the motors put all that power exclusively to the rear wheels.

The P1 LM as we know, is a track-only car sold by McLaren and runs on custom-made Pirelli Trofeo tyres of "a specific size and compound".

Not only did Brack score a fastest lap in 2016, a year later in May 2017 he set the then-fastest lap around the famous Nurburgring race track. And if the lap at Goodwood looked as if the car was a handful to control, then it's incredible how Brack took on the myriad of corners.

Lanzante says: "Over the past eleven months, as the five P1 LM production cars have been built, the identical prototype XP1LM road car has been testing. During the final phases at Nurburgring Nordschleife, XP1LM achieved a fastest lap of 6mins43.2seconds. After setting this new lap record, the car then drove directly from Nurburgring back home to the UK".

It is simply one of my favourite car videos to watch, and a clip I'll never tire of, send us an email and let us know which is your favourite McLaren?
