Skoda has partnered with two athletes to set a thrilling world record; Martial artist Markus Haas has caught an arrow from Olympian archer Laurence Baldauff - fired at a blistering 215km/h.

It took the pair 4 months to prepare with Haas managing to catch the arrow while standing and positioned through the car's sunroof.

No easy feat

In order to achieve this feat, a 180kW Skoda Octavia vRS 245 was used to obtain the speeds required for the stunt.

The stunt pays homage to the brand's 'wing' logo. What a way in which to do it.
