England - If ever there was someone deserving of a drink, it's this pedestrian - CCTV shows the moment a pedestrian is knocked down by an out-of-control bus. Incredibly, he recovers from the collision and walks into a pub as if nothing happened.
Man of steel
In the video, the man glances over his shoulder moments before being hit in the back by the bus. He is sent flying down the street and is even hit with debris during the collision. The clip shows the man, recovering from his fall, and entering a nearby bar.
Simon Smith, identified by ABC News, received minor injuries despite the enormous impact.
A trip to hospital
Stuart McNaught, manager of the Purple Turtle bar, told The Daily Telegraph that the injured patron been transferred to hospital following the crash.
He said: "We've known Simon for about 20 years. He went to hospital, the paramedics who called the ambulance took him."
The pub then made a light moment of the incident by taking to Twitter, announcing that the building wasn't damaged by the out-of-control bus.
