The Nordschleife, once described "as if a reeling, drunken giant had been sent out to determine the route", is a combination of tricky corners, treacherous crests, steep inclines and gradients and constantly changing road surfaces.
It's where car manufacturers test their vehicles as it's widely considered as one of the most demanding roads in the world.
And that's exactly where Vaughn Gittin Jnr attempted to become the first person to ever drift the entire 20.7km Nordschleife at the Nurburgring in his 670kW Ford Mustang RTR.
