Cape Town - A growing trend in major Chinese cities sees pedestrians 'pounce' on cars driving at a slow pace and then launch themselves in the way of the vehicle according to NPR.org.
The act is done in an attempt to gain compensation from the unsuspecting motorist. On December 24, dash-cam footage caught a middle-aged woman from Nanyang in the act, the only problem was is her 'attempt' was dismal.
Wouldn't give up
The driver managed to preempt the granny's antics and slowed the car down to a complete stop, this however didn't stop the woman from trying the scam.
