  • Latest RS models include flagship RSQ8
  • All feature all-wheel drive
  • RSQ3 Sportback employs five-cylinder engine

The Audi RS badge's value has risen in recent years with outstanding products like the R8, RS4 and wickedly fast RS3. Audi has slapped the RS badge on its SUVs, such as the RSQ8 and the newer RSQ3 Sportback.

The recipe hasn't changed that much since the Porsche-powered RS2 rocketed onto the scene in the 90s: a powerful engine up front, four-wheel drive.

The guys at Carwow love doing drag races and this one is all about RS. It features the facelifted RS4, the RSQ8 and the smallest of the trio, the RSQ3.

The RS4 is powered by a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 engine with 331kW and 600Nm. The RSQ8 is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with 440kW and 800Nm and lastly there's the RSQ3 powered by a 2.5-litre turbocharged five-cyinder engine with 250kW and 480Nm.

They all employ four-wheel drive, and only the RSQ3 uses a seven-speed twin-clutch gearbox, with an eight-speed torque converter doing duty in the other two.

So, which car will be quickest in a drag race? Only one way to find out:
