London - UK teen Faizan Mehdi is holding a raffle to auction off his uncle's Porsche Panamera Turbo and tickets cost £35 or around R600 each. His uncle bought the car, which is less than three years old, for £130 000 (close to R2.2-million).

Mehdi plans to draw the winner during an Instagram Live on New Year’s Eve. The car has been on the market for five months and hasn't been sold, so Mehdi came up with an alternative way of earning some cash from it.

The Panamera only has 32 000km on the clock and is fitted with all the options according the teen.

To enter the raffle, one only needs to purchase a raffle entry. In order for entries to be validated, entrants must answer three trivial questions correctly to stand a chance to win the car. Only those who have answered the questions correctly, will have their names gathered and chosen from.

He was inspired by a Chelsea estate agent who did the same with his Porsche Cayman in April earlier this year.

Mehdi says only persons 18 years or over may enter the event and no refunds will be accepted.
