This Japanese electric hypercar hit 100km/h in 1.9 seconds

Tokyo - Keen on a car with face-ripping levels of acceleration? Look no further than the ludicrously fast Aspark Owl.

The Owl - weird name, we know - is a Japanese electric hypercar that has been recorded (silently) reaching 100km/h from standstill in less than two seconds.

The company says only 50 Owls will be made and it'll priced at $4.4-million. They've also been secretive on where all that power comes from.

As for the actual test, it was done in the alley behind a shed. What way to hit sub two seconds...
