Canada - Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May test the Alfa Romeo Stelvio, Porsche Macan and Range Rover Velar to find out which SUV is best to transport pets.

The trio were challenged to fit as many large Newfoundland dogs into the boot of their respective SUV, a task which proved to be rather difficult for the Grand Tour presenters - starting when a couple of them got a little frisky.

Electronic tailgate feature

Clarkson managed two pooches in the rear of his Alfa, however, the electric tailgate feature did not allow the bootlid to close.

Hammond, who boasted getting the biggest dog in his boot, was unable to close the boot lid duet to the electronic tailgate setting as well.
