A 14-year-old Australian teen has been charged with numerous offences after he crashed a stolen Subaru Forester into R3.4-million Lamborghini Urus.

According to a report from IOL, the  Western Australia Police Force said the Forester had been reported as stolen during a home burglary on October 6.

The police, said IOL, had been patrolling the Como district, South of Perth in a Toyota Hilux for the white Subaru and had spotted it parked in a driveway. The police then parked their marked bakkie right behind it in the driveway.

The Police said on their Facebook page: "As officers exited the Hilux it will be alleged the Forester reversed at speed, crashing into the rear pod section."

In very hot water

The youngster, who had no intention of being caught, reversed into the Hilux and sped off down the street. His efforts proved worthless when he collided into a Lamborghini Urus at an intersection the police said, digging himself into an even, deeper and more expensive hole after wrecking a total of three vehicles in one night.

Lamborghini launched its super-SUV in South Africa during 2018, with pricing starting from R3 495 000.

Wheels24's Janine Van der Post says: "Under the bonnet of the Urus is a 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo engine delivering 478kW at 6000rpm (max 6800rpm) and 850Nm at 2250rpm. Lamborghini says the Urus claims one of the highest specific power outputs in its class with 121kW/litre.

It sprints from 0 to 100km/h in 3/6 seconds and to 200km/h in 12.8 seconds. It has a claimed top speed of 305km/h, making it the fastest SUV yet.

The police said the teen's list of charges include two counts of stealing a motor vehicle, three counts of stealing, one count of aggravated burglary and commit, and one count of aggravated burglary with intent, according to the report.

He appeared in the Perth Children's Court on Wednesday, October 16.
