England - Top Gear was presented by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, now hosts of the Grand Tour, for more than 20 seasons. Their comedic exploits never failed to delight fans (and enrage automakers).
One of the funniest segments of the show was its masked test driver, known as the 'The Stig', being introduced before performing hot laps. The Stig played a mystical character on Top Gear, with his true identity kept a closely guarded secret.
In reality, many famous motoring personalities donned the iconic white race suit and helmet.
"Some say..."
Over the years, Clarkson and co managed to present The Stig with some comedic gems. They're nonsensical, bizarre and at times, used to make fun of British authorities and politicians.
"Some say that he has seen the Lion King 1780 times and that his second best friend is a Cape Buffalo","Some say that he knows two facts about ducks and both of them are wrong..." those are but some of the funniest lines used to introduce the Stig.
