Earlier in September, Wheels24 reported that dozens of luxury cars were seized from the son of the Equatorial Guinea's president and would be auctioned off.

Car lovers from around the world splashed out more than $27 million at the auction by the UK based auction house Bonhams which sold 25 lots. The vast plethora of luxury cars included a Lamborghini Veneno Roadster, one of only 9 ever produced, and also the uber-venerable Ferrari Enzo.

Seized goods

Each of the supercars at the auction were seized goods once owned by the son of the Equatorial Guinea's president, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue.
