United States - The Toyota 86 is regarded as one of the best driving enthusiast cars on the market today. Despite the 86 being a great car, enthusiasts have always wondered how much better the vehicle would be with a slight increase in power.

Ferrari powered 86

Ryan Tuerck, a professional drifter, took the concept of giving the 86 a power increase to a whole new extreme when he managed to fit a 4.5-liter V8 engine from a Ferrari 458 into its engine bay.

Because of the enormity of fitting a V8 engine into a space that was primarily designed for a 4-cylinder vehicle, it took Tuerck and his team an entire year to complete the project.

On its first take of drifting, Tuerck then crashed the Ferrari-powered 86 which halted filming for a brief moment. The mechanics then managed to fix the broken suspension of the 86 and continued filming.
