Three German saloons meet on the drag strip to see which one is fastest. The protagonists include BMW's new all-wheel drive M5 sporting a 4.4-litre twin-turbo petrol V8 and Mercedes-AMG's manic E63 S, both produce around 450kW.
The third and perhaps wildcard entry is Porsche's Panamera Turbo S e-hybrid, uses a four-litre turbocharged engine with the addition of a 100kW electric motor to produce a dizzying 500kW.
The team at Top Gear lined all three up to see who will cross the line first...
Top Gear said: Who said the power wars were over? Both the BMW M5 and Mercedes AMG E63 S pack around 447kW, but they may have met their maker in the astonishing, 500kW Porsche Panamera Turbo S e-hybrid.
