Audi is helping all fans of the brand, regardless of age, to offset pending boredom during the lockdown period.
The German car brand commissioned its very talented industrial and graphic designers to create a series of colouring-in sketched, featuring some of the most iconic Audis. This Audi Collections colouring-in book is now available for free download.
Adult colouring-in has proven to be a popular stress mitigation and mindfulness exercise of late, recommended by some occupational therapists.
With Audi's colouring-in book, you'll get the opportunity to finally bring to life that purple and orange R8 you've always dreamed of.
The range of cars covers classic to contemporary Audi models, in a variety of settings. One of the sketches offers an Audi Q-series on the moon. Another sees the R8 supercar, parked in a cityscape.

Aware that not all its followers are expert colourists, Audi has created some of the sketches with bold separation lines, to allow for children and those with less steady hands, to be bold without ruining their experience.
Some of the Audi colouring-in sketches feature very realistic background environments, allowing you to replicate something quite lifelike if you have a broad swathe of colours available. Other backgrounds are wonderfully bizarre and psychedelic, which should appeal to kids and those given to surges of creativity.
Audi motorsport fans won’t be disappointed either. There is a classic Auto Union Type-C sketch, which has very fine linework and a crowd of spectators in the background. It should keep Audi track fans busy for hours, if not days.
Those given to more technical drawing challenges will be heartened that Audi’s colouring-in team have not forgotten that too many car fans, engines matter. As such, there is also an engine sketch in the downloadable colouring-in book, with plenty of tight and narrow detail challenges for the keen colourist.
If the Quattro is strong with you, then yes: Audi has included one of its legendary rally cars in this colouring-in book, an original Quattro WRC model.
You could choose to challenge yourself by Googling some original images of the cars featured and attempting to recreate them with great colour accuracy. Or be daring and interpret all those colour combinations that aren't available in the real world, by creating your very own custom, Audi.
The elaborate backgrounds available on some of these sketches have the potential to keep you occupied for a very considerable amount of time.
