The Lamborghini Huracan has replaced the Gallardo not just on the road but also the track with the soon to be revealed Huracan LP610-4 Super Trofeo.
The track-tuned Huracan replaces the Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo and will be unveiled at Pebble Beach, California on August 15.
The Super Trofeo will be powered by a uprated version of the 449kW/560Nm 5.2-litre V10 used in the standard Huracan.
LAMBO TEASES NEW SUPER TROFEO
The video shows the new Lambo sporting military camouflage. From the brief video, you can spot its wider body, massive rear wing and diffuser. Other mods include a carbon-fibered front, black wheels and a stripped interior.
According to Lamborghini the Gallardo Super Trofeo is 70kg lighter than its road going Superleggera base car.

The Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo will begin racing in 2015 in all three of 2015 Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Series (Asia, Europe and USA).
Putting the new track racer through its paces are chief test driver Giorgio Sanna as well as Lamborghini Squadra Corse test driver, South Africa’s Adrian Zaugg.
