No really, this hatchback is called #Like

FAW South Africa has launched a limited edition version of its V2 hatchback and goes by the quirky model name of V2 #LIKE.

Why the bizarre moniker? FAW says it's derived by combining Twitter (for the hashtag #) and Facebook’s Like function.

General manager of FAW Auto cars and light commercials in SA, Pedro Pereira, said: "The limited edition V2 #Like  continues as an amazing value-for-money offering because it has an exceptional list of additional standard equipment and yet sells at the extremely competitive price of R109 995."

LOADS OF KIT

The standard 1.3-litre V2 sells for R99 995.

It's equipped with aircon, power window, radio/CD audio with MP3 compatibility, power side-mirrors, remote control central locking, remote fuel-cap opener, dual gloveboxes and cup holders. The limited edition has 15" alloy rims, Bluetooth, touchscreen satnav, DVD/MP3/CD audio system with which 12.7cm Sony speakers."

In terms of safety it has dual air bags, anti-lock brakes with electronic brake force distribution, side impact bars, headlight levelling, LED brake lights and fog lights.

It's four-cylinder 1.3-litre petrol is capable of 67kW/120Nm mated to a five-speed manual, driving power to the front wheels. Fuel economy is rated at a claimed 6.5 litres/100km.

The V2 #Like is sold with a three-year or 100 000km warranty, three-year or 45 000km service plan and one-year roadside assistance.
