A huge treat is in store for all Top Gear fans. When buying tickets for this year’s Top Gear Festival at BP Express shops, fans get a free Top Gear DVD as part of the festival ticket price of R250 from participating BP Express stores in Gauteng.

These special festival tickets are now available at BP and give fans entrance to the Top Gear Festival extravaganza for only R250. The ticket does not include the Top Gear Stunt Show, but can be upgraded to include the Show via Computicket.

Having enjoyed a full day at the festival the free Top Gear DVD can be collected as these ticket holders exit from the festival by simply showing their BP ticket receipt.

MORE INTERACTIVE

Tristao Abro, BP’s Brands and Insights Manager says, “Top Gear Festival  is a spectacular motoring extravaganza which BP as a premium brand is very happy to have been associated with for the past few years. This year’s festival, which is taking place at Kyalami Racetrack from 17 – 20 March, is jam-packed with a dazzling display of over 500 exciting cars and celebrities renowned for their motoring achievements on a global scale”.

It is also far more interactive than in the past and has been expanded beyond the ‘theatre show’ to a motoring festival spread out over the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit.

Drag racing, power testing and time trials will take place at ‘The Strip’, while driving, rallying and off-roading will be key activities at ‘The Bowl’.

LEGEND LIVE

Other highlights include the BP Stunt School where members of the public will be shown by professional drivers exactly how some motoring stunts are done, Freestyle Motocross, Kart Tracking and the Motoring Pavilion.

Local motoring legend; Gugu Zulu will be giving an ear-numbing performance in a live advert preceding the Top Gear stunt show in a BP/Volkswagen Racing rally car. Other legends such as David Coulthard will wow crowds in the latest F1 car and SA’s very own F1 champion, Jody Scheckter, who took the title of 1979 F1 World Driver’s Champion, will be bringing his collection of iconic F1 cars to the festival.
