Toyota kicks off its 2019 model assault with the launch of the next-generation of its popular RAV4 SUV, due to arrive locally later this year.
It might not be as popular as its Fortuner sibling locally though Naamsa sales figures December 2018 reveal the the outgoing compact SUV totalled 410 units.
What to know
The RAV4 is geared at taking to the fight to Volkswagen's Tiguan and Honda's CR-V among others.

The current engine lineup includes a 2.0-litre, 2.5-litre petrol and also a hybrid version, with the latter not available for the South African market when the SUV arrives in March.
