Jaguar Land Rover South Africa is offering a range of valuable services, including its 'Holiday Heroes'campaign, to customers this festive season to ensure the holidays are enjoyed safely on the road and at home.

All Jaguar and Land Rover owners are invited to have their vehicles checked for free ahead of any planned holiday journeys.

How it works

The quick and easy check-ups can be booked at any authorised dealership between 1 December 2019 and 1 January 2020, included are tyre assessments along with visual and electronic health checks of safety critical items.

If Jaguar or Land Rover drivers do happen to encounter any trouble on the road, whether a simple tyre puncture or unforeseen mechanical issue, the Heroic Roadside Assist team is available to help get the journey back underway safely.

A fleet of rescue vehicles and helicopters are on standby along all major holiday routes to ensure delays are kept to a minimum. This amplified roadside assistance offering will also run from 1 December to 1 January.

The service can be requested via Jaguar Land Rover vehicles’ onboard eCall and bCall buttons activated via InControl (depending on vehicle specification) or by calling 012 450 4000.

Owners of vehicles with eCall and bCall functionality are encouraged to update their emergency contact and medical aid details with Jaguar Land Rover.

Support on the roads will also be provided by Jaguar Land Rover’s best-in-class partner Europ Assistance.

Max is back! This time he learns all about 4x4s

Little Max from Tiny Torque recently went up to Johannesburg to learn all about the automaker's testing facility and how to off-rad safely ahead of the holidays.

Ernest Page says: "Max and I ventured out of Cape Town to go check out the new swanky Jaguar Land Rover Experience centre in Johannesburg.

"Watch till the end to see how things got very VERY scary, as we took on some insane obstacles and tracks at this unique facility."
