Your Ford SUV on fire? Here's what happens during a Kuga repair

Cape Town - Following the recall of 4556 Kuga 1.6-litre EcoBoost models in South Africa, Huffington Post South Africa  visited a Ford dealership to find out what the repairs entail.

Cassie du Toit, service manager at Eagle Ford in Johannesburg, explains what occurs when an affected Kuga is booked in. 

Over 4500 Kugas affected

The automaker says its safety recall, including Kugas that have already been checked, must be taken to a Ford dealership as soon as possible.

Du Toit gives a thorough explanation of which components are repaired.
