Cape Town - Jeremy Clarkson and co-presenters, James May and Richard Hammond, are filming the trio's new motoring show - The Grand Tour.

In July, fans of the veteran motoring trio have been treated to behind-the-scenes footage including the group apparently wrecking a Range Rover.

Co-driving with a hungover

In the show's latest clip, Clarkson recalls memories ‘about the time’ he was the co-driver during a rally.

Clarkson explains how he was "hungover", thinking to himself “If there is a god, please intervene now.”

Fortunately for Clarkson's pounding head, the rally car suffered a driveshaft issue, putting an end to the off-road race.
