Toyota has held its annual State of the Motor Industry summit at the Kyalami race track in Johannesburg. From new models to its outlook for 2019, the automaker revealed some interesting plans for the year ahead.

Company CEO Andrew Kirby shared his insights about the local market, as well as the automaker's growth over the past year.

Key areas that the automaker will focus on for 2019 included transformation (i.e "black-owned dealers) and increasing local production. We've inlcluded a full breakdown of today's summit at the end of this article.
