Washington - US sites Jalopnik, Reddit and OppositeLock reported on a crash involving a McLaren P1 in Washington DC.
The hypercar reportedly belongs to a member of the Abu Dhabi royal family, Sultan Bin Rashed Al Nahyan.
1 of 375 in the world
According to Reddit, Al Nahyan was out of the country at the time of the crash, and the unlucky driver is a friend of the owner.
The P1 is valued at the equivalent of R20-million and is no longer made after the British automaker halted production at the end of 2015.
McLaren built 375 units, making it one of the most exclusive cars in the world, so when in image shows a wrecked P1, we can't help but feel sad.
